Heritage Floors of Georgia operates out of the historic Chipman-Union Mill located in Union Point, Georgia. Registered on the National Registry of Historic Places, the location was originally a carriage mill built in the 1800s, but just a few years later was converted to a hosiery mill. The mill was family owned until it's closure in 2001, and was purchased by our company in 2007.

Since the move to our new home, we've actively worked to help revitalize both the town of Union Point, and the mill itself. We've been able to restore a unique maple flooring from what were once production rooms in unused parts of the campus. This process wouldn't have been possible without the the development of our patented citrus cleaner. This cleaner removes harmful oils deposited by a century's worth of weaving machines, and leaves only the beautifully restored speckled patina of this maple.
