With the help of ProCoat, Heritage Floors of Georgia has developed several proprietary low VOC waterborne finishes to work in conjunction with our GREENGUARD certified Bona finishes. In addition to our finihses, Heritage and ProCoat have partnered to develop a natural citrus cleaning compound that removes oil, grease, adhesives, and other hydro-carbon contaminates. Until now, wood exposed to these hazardous chemicals was unfit to be reclaimed, but with Heritage's innovative cleaning compound, we are able to recover wood and conserve additional timber from being harvested for flooring.

This treatment is used on our Sock Mill Maple flooring, a hardwood recovered from our own Chipman-Union Mill. The combination of these unique compounds allow our craftsman to achieve nearly any desired flooring finish on nearly any floor. Additionally, since our finishes are water-based, there are no harmful fumes like other polyurethane finishes and dry in a fraction of the time – this means you can begin enjoying the beauty and comfort of your new floors in about 4 hours.
